Privacy policy

This policy describes what this site actually does with your data: what it collects, why, who receives it, and what it does not do. It is published pursuant to articles 12 and 13 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data collected

The site collects personal data in one place only: the contact form. It has six fields, and here they all are:

  • full name;
  • company;
  • job title (optional);
  • work email;
  • phone (optional);
  • description of your requirement.

Nothing else is collected. The site sets no cookies, builds no profile and records no browsing identifier — see the cookies page.

Purpose

This data is used to handle your contact request and to reply to it. That is its only purpose at the point of collection.

Handling your request rests on article 6.1.b of the GDPR: it is a pre-contractual step taken at your own request. Consent is deliberately not the basis used — a request you make yourself does not need a checkbox on top of it, and superfluous consent would be revocable to no purpose.

If F.E.A International later sends you business-to-business marketing related to your professional activity, that separate processing rests on article 6.1.f of the GDPR (legitimate interest), within the opt-out regime applicable in B2B under article L34-5 of the French Postal and Electronic Communications Code (Code des postes et des communications électroniques). Every such message contains a simple, working way to object.

Recipients

Three recipients, and three only:

  • the company mailbox, hosted on Microsoft 365 — the sole recipient of the content of your message;
  • Brevo, a French company whose customer data is hosted in the European Union, as the email delivery processor;
  • Cloudflare, as the host of the site.

No data is passed to anyone else, sold, or shared for advertising purposes.

Retention

The site itself keeps nothing: no database, no log of the content of your request, no application-side storage. Your message and the acknowledgement sent back to you travel by email, and the company mailbox is their sole depository.

For later business-to-business marketing, the reference periods are those of the CNIL’s doctrine: three years after the last contact for a prospect who has remained inactive; the duration of the business relationship plus three years for a customer.

Your rights

You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection and portability over the data concerning you. To exercise them, write to contact@fea-international.com: the address is enough, no dedicated form is required.

Complaints

If you consider that your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés, the French data protection authority), www.cnil.fr (new window).

Audience measurement

From the public go-live of the site, audience measurement is provided by Cloudflare Web Analytics, a tool that works without cookies and without persistent identifiers: nothing is stored on your device, no profile is built, no cross-site tracking takes place. Measurement is carried out for the sole account of the publisher, and this information, published here, is the counterpart of the consent exemption provided for by the CNIL’s doctrine. Until that activation happens, no audience measurement runs — this page describes the real behaviour of the site at all times.
