Filtration area

Air filtration

The filter elements used in air handling units and industrial environments, from the flat pre-filter through to laminar flow.

This area covers synthetic and glass fibre media built into disposable or renewable panel filters, pleated filters, bag and multi-pocket filters, mini-pleat V-bank filters, activated carbon filters for odour and gas treatment, and very high efficiency elements for cleanrooms and laminar flow. It also covers the universal mounting frames and automatic roll systems that carry those media. Each family states the filtration class it covers and the document behind it; the class is resolved from the site's standards reference, never retyped by hand. Initial pressure drop, developed filter area and the temperature limit of the medium are what separate two elements of the same size.

Families in this area

  • Panel filters

Ambient and air handling unit inlet pre-filtration, as a disposable panel or a renewable frame.

  • Pleated filters

Pleated media on a rigid frame: more developed area than a panel filter of the same size.

  • Bag filters

Fine filtration in flexible pockets, for high airflow air handling units.

  • Multi-pocket and rigid bag filters

Rigid pockets and multi-pocket blocks, where a flexible pocket will not hold the airflow.

  • Activated carbon filters

Odour and gas treatment by adsorption, as cassettes, cartridges or impregnated panels.

  • Mini-pleat V-bank filters

Mini-pleat V-bank blocks: high efficiency and low pressure drop at high airflow.

  • High efficiency filters

Elements for cleanrooms, safety cabinets and laminar flow, with their declared efficiency class.
