Process filtration
Wound cartridges
String-wound cartridges, depth filtration for liquids carrying a high particle load.
Wound yarn filters through its thickness rather than at the surface, which lets it take heavy particle loads before clogging. The rating is nominal: a share of particles at the rating passes through, and that must be accepted when choosing.
Values read from the documents cited
Each value is read from the document its mark refers to. It places the family; it does not describe its full extent. Where the family has published sheets, what those sheets actually carry is stated under the value.
- Filtration rating (nominal)
- 0.5 µm[1]Published sheets: 10 µm, 50 µm
