The textiles used run from polypropylene to polyester, polyamide, PPS, meta-aramid, PTFE and glass, in plain, twill or satin weave, with antistatic, calendering and heat-setting treatments. Filtration rating, the temperature limit of the medium and the admissible pressure drop drive the choice; on a dust collector, the cleaning cycle and the type of mounting collar drive it just as much.
